Viv Lucas
Viv attended Harrow School of Art in the sixties, studying drawing and illustration, mainly figurative work, aimed at book illustration. She left prematurely, a sixties Art School dropout, no longer able to live on baked beans.
Viv works with watercolour, oils and various pencils and ink. She specialises in portraits, both human and animal. Viv especially loves the face and finds capturing the spirit of people and animals fascinating. Every character is a new challenge. She finds inspiration from her travels and living in lovely Wiltshire. Viv has completed many commissions, including on icing for cakes!
She exhibits with ‘Marlborough Artists’ and ‘The Guild of Wiltshire Artists’.
